“Theatre of narration” – formula created by G. Guccini and C. Meldolesi – is a theatre based mostly on storytellig, monologues, and one-man-show. It can be assumed as the aesthetics paradigm of “new epic performance”.
Marco Baliani is one of the main performer of “theatre of narration”. His theatrography includes one man shows as well bigger productions with more actors. He also worked with children and teenagers, and recently he’s tourning with a new pièce called Human. In this interview he explains the main characteristics of his theatre, and his ideas about performing and society.
