In the first, this author-performer-director flags up the negative impact food can have on an indivudal’s body and mind when taken in excess. In the
second, this dramatist-poet focuses on the positive role of food in the life of a female prison inmate, who cooks for her fellow prisoners, discovering a sense of fulfillment.
